We NEW SEA MARITIME ACADEMY, Jaipur engaged in Marine Trainings & Marine Placements. Marine Training includes all the Pre - Sea Trainings. There are different categories in Merchant Navy.

PRE-SEA TRAINING FOR SEAMAN [Catering]
PRE-SEA TRAINING FOR SEAMAN [General]
PRE-SEA TRAINING FOR DECK CADETS
PRE-SEA TRAINING FOR NAVIGATIONAL OFFICER [B.Sc. Nautical Science]
MARINE ENGINEERING (4 YEARS)
PRE-SEA TRAINING FOR D.M.E.
PRE-SEA TRAINING FOR G.M.E.
GENERAL CATEGORY:
A general seaman category (Deck, Engine, Catering) after training will get salary around 20,000 to 45,000.

OFFICER CATEGORY:
An Official Category (Navigational or Engineering Officer) after training will get salary around 25,000 to 95,000 up to the rank of junior officer. On promotion to the next rank the officer will get salary doubled.

As the Training Fees varies from course to course which will be borne by the candidates will be around 2 lacks per year, which includes Tuition fee, Food, Accommodation, Books, Uniform, Ship Visits, Technical Tours etc.

After training the candidate will be awarded with Indian CDC and valid certificates as per international standards and IMO regulations and STCW 95 convention from Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India.

MARINE PLACEMENTS:
Ships (Cargo, Tankers, Cruise Liners, etc.)

MARINE OFF SHORE PLACEMENTS:
Oil Rigs, Coastal Ships, Supply Vessels, Tugs, Barges.

Career Prospectus for Oil Rigs Pre Sea Training

Valid Certificates as per International Standards, and IMO Regulations and STCW 95 Convention.

Job Onboard Oil Rigs, Supply Vessels, Coastal Ships, as Trainee Helper,
[Technical – ITI, Diploma, B.E., B.Tech.
General – 10th Pass / Fail,
Catering – 8th Pass / Fail
With age Below 30 years
Training Duration : One Month
